At TishEd, Inc., a California corporation and TishEd Tech, Inc. a Delaware corporation, we believe that accessibility is a cornerstone of equity in education. Our mission is to ensure that our platforms—including ApplyEd, Cheddar, and related consulting services—are usable and beneficial to all users, including people with disabilities.

We are committed to continually improving accessibility across our services and to being transparent about both our progress and our challenges.

Accessibility in Practice

To support accessibility, TishEd:

  • Aims to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

  • Provides alt text for images and descriptive labels for interactive elements.

  • Ensures sufficient color contrast and scalable text.

  • Uses semantic HTML and ARIA attributes to support assistive technologies.

Known Limitations & Improvement Plan

We recognize that some parts of our services—such as advanced data dashboards and certain third-party integrations—may not yet fully meet accessibility requirements.

To address this, we commit to:

  • Reviewing high-traffic admissions and financial aid workflows annually.

  • Prioritizing and fixing reported accessibility issues within 30–60 days whenever feasible.
